Why Choose Us for Adult Music Lessons
Unlike lessons for children, where the teacher typically directs the curriculum, our approach for adult students is much more collaborative. Adults tend to have an idea of what they want to work on, and then the instructor will tailor the lesson around that.
We've taught everyone from complete beginners to returning musicians to professionals looking to expand their skills. We even had members of the 90s group En Vogue take lessons with us to prepare for a tour where they'd be performing Italian arias!
5-Step Process for Getting Started With Adult Music Lessons

- Pay for your first lesson
- Meet your teacher and discuss exactly what you'd like to learn

5-Step Process for Success With Your Lessons
- We'll talk about what you want to achieve, whether that's playing specific songs, learning a new technique, or just enjoying music as a hobby
- Your teacher will create a plan based on your goals
- You'll work at your own pace–no pressure to keep up with anyone else
- We'll give you specific things to practice at home between lessons

Frequently Asked Questions About Music Lessons for Adults
Do I need my own instrument?
We have instruments available for your first lesson, but you'll definitely need something to practice on at home. Your teacher can help recommend what to get based on your budget and goals.
I'm completely new to music. Is that OK?
Absolutely! Many of our adult students are beginners. Our teachers are experienced at working with new musicians of all ages and will start with the basics at a comfortable pace.
Can I try different teachers?
Yes! If your first lesson doesn't feel like the right fit, you can try lessons with other teachers before committing to regular lessons.
How flexible is your scheduling?
While we don't offer every-other-week lessons or constantly changing time slots (since this affects teacher scheduling), we do have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you can't make it in person, you can also take your lesson via Zoom or get a recorded lesson from your teacher.
What styles can I learn?
Most of our teachers can teach across multiple styles. Some specialize in classical, others in jazz, rock, pop, or other genres. Just let us know what interests you for your adult music lessons in Granda Hills and Santa Clarita, and we'll match you with the right instructor.
